22.  How to copy profile in Windows 7 for Default Domain NETLOGON:
In Windows 7 for some reason you cannot use "Copy To" in the profile section. This is very poor and contrary to what Microsoft says. Using this method you can copy your custom profile to another location enabling you to create a netlogon\Default User.v2
How To
§  Create you custom profile. Logoff this user and login to another admin account
§  Open My Computer and hold down ALT. This will show the file menu. ClickTools then Options.
Description: options windows 7
§  Change the Radio Button to: Show Hidden Files
§  Uncheck Hide Protected Operating System Files
Description: show files windows 7
§  Now Navigate to:
c:\users
§  Rename the Default Folder
§  Rename you custom profile to Default
Description: user folder windows 7
§  Now you can use Copy To
Description: copy to windows 7
§  If you are setting up a default domain profile copy the profile to:
\\server\NETLOGON\Default User.v2
Description: copy to netlogon windows 7

23.  Again rename default folder to your custom profile folder
24.  And rename Default user.v2 to Default
25.  Default profile permission – Put Full permission on this folder to everyone. If default profile has not got the full permission for everyone then whenever a user tries to login, it shows a message: The user profile service service failed logon.
  1. Copy \\its3\Resources\NetAdmin\2010\Zen Configuration\Auto Installer\ITS folder into c:\windows\system32 folder. And follow the instructions files from this folder.
